ÉAU is looking for a recirculating aquaculture specialist

A Day at ÉAU:
- Design and develop recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS)
- Research sustainable technologies and equipment
- Collaborate with hydroponics specialists to create commercial scale aquaponic farms
- Monitor global technological advances in aquaculture and communicate best practices and innovations to the ÉAU team
- Write reports, literature reviews and system protocols
The ideal candidate:
- Enjoys finding solutions to complex problems
- Resourceful, imaginative, proactive and innovative
- Education in aquaculture, engineering or another related field
- Experience with recirculating aquaculture and aquaculture engineering
- Experience with RAS equipment and technologies (biofilters, radial flow settlers, drum filters, mineralization, gas transfer etc.)
- Experience creating 3D models (AutoCAD, SolidWork, etc.) is a must
- Enjoys working autonomously and as part of a team on long term projects and on a tight timeline
- Able to communicate in both French and English
